I am getting an Dell Inspiron 9300 with an:
    Intel PRO/Internal Wireless 2915 (802.11 a/b/g. 54Mbps)

Which wireless router will provide the fastest connection?

    1. D-LINK DI-524 802.11b/g 54Mbps Wireless Broadband Router

    2. NETGEAR WGT624 802.11b/g 108Mbps Super-G Wireless Broadband Router

    3. LINKSYS WRT54GS 802.11b/g Wireless-G with SpeedBooster Broadband Router

Any suggestions are appreciated. (I honestly have no knowledge about wireless routers!)

Don't get the NETGEAR WGT624, that ones known to be problematic.

I'm using the NETGEAR WGT614 and although a small wall in the begining, everythings been running fine now!

I haven't used any of the above, but heard mostly good stuff about the Linksys, and some not good stuff about the D-Link, so I'm gonn have to say "Linksys" as well.

I actually have two of the netgears and love them. Their support is very good, that's why I stick with NG.

Yep, Netgear would be my first choice, the WGT 624 has worked for me flawlessly, no problems and easy to setup. If i didnt get the netgear my second choice would be Linksys. DLink are known to have some issues...

LINKSYS WRT54GS - custom firmwares' such as the Freeman can be uploaded with ease, and can be used to increase the power of the transmitter to penetrate walls easily.

Also it has lots of other useful features which again are easily accessable via the web control interface. Also supports AES+TKIP (makes hacking quite a bit tougher even for the experienced) and you can adjust the key change interval.

Since your laptop has no Linksys/broadcom based chip in the unit, you might as well get the WRT54G as you wont be able to use the channel bonding (aka faster wireless link feature) without buying another wifi card thats suitable.
