As suggested here a couple months ago (by downloads) i waited for the 2nd gen AC to come out and im set on buying a new router now - ive already upgraded my laptop to the Intel 7260 AC and am itching to get a decent router to replace my aging Lynksis E2000 and WRT54GL (acting as a repeater/extender running Toastmans Tomato).

Ive read the reviews and looked at the prices, to narrow down my selection a bit, but id like some advice which would be my best pick.

The routers im looking at (from cheapest to most expensive) are:
    Edimax BR-6478AC (AC1200)
    Netgear R6250 (AC1600)
    TP-Link Archer C7 (AC1750)
    Asus RT-AC56U (AC1200)
    Asus RT-AC66U (AC1750)
    Asus RT-AC68U (AC1900)
    Netgear R7000 (AC1900)

For a price reference point in the EU you can check this website.

Most important is routing performance, wireless throughtput, range, stable operation and a good feature set. Storage performance and price are of secondary importance here, but are a benefit of course.
