Hello there. I have a Toshiba Qosmio F15 AV201 that has an INTEL PRO/WIRELESS 2200BG internal wireless card. I use a D-link 624+ router for my wireless.

This set up works perfectly when I'm using my laptop on AC power, but once I unplug my laptop and switch to battery power, my internet no longer works. I am still connected to the network - just no information is being sent or received. When i choose to "repair" the connection in Windows XP, it automatically reconnects to the network and the internet works for about 5 seconds (enough for me to load up my homepage) but when i click on a link firefox just hangs and says it cannot find the page. Could it be a power problem, like the wireless card isnt getting enough power from the battery or something? I know its not a problem with the router, since it works fine with my PDA.

    Any suggestions?

could be. check your card properties. there's a lot of settings regarding power/battery, roaming strength, etc.

(although, if you've never played with them, the default settings should be fine)
