I have an Acer 5315-2713 laptop and a PC both running Vista Ultimate. I have folders set to share and I can see both laptop and pc in network.

I get a error saying I don't have permission to access the computer. I can't ever print from my laptop I can go into the printer and select options etc but then there is some unexpected error which cause it not to print.

The funny thing is when I play music both the pc and laptop will network together and make a media drive and I can play music from pc or laptop.

I did do network once form XP to Vista with no issues when I had a XP server. So why isn't Vista to Vista working the same?

update: I also get error 0x80070035 path not found

never mind after 2 weeks of trying I read an article about how to network a printer.

So I added a password to my PC and added the printer as a local printer created a port \\pc\printer login with my pc user name/password printer worked.

Then I was shock went in to network and was able to access all my shared folders from the pc on the laptop. I am happy.
