What's needed for wireless anywhere (using cell phone towers)?

I got a Lenovo S10 Ideapad (it's a netbook, 1.6 GHz Atom processor, was like $350) and the president of my company saw it and wants one. He says that's the perfect size he's been looking for being small enough to take anywhere and have the ability to connect to our network on the highway if so be.

Since he's the president of a multi-million dollar company price isn't much of an issue. His big issue is that it be the size of the Lenovo S10, can be in and configured within 7 days before he leaves for his trip, and that it have XP on it.

My main question is, what's needed to get him internet anywhere through cell phone towers? The Lenovo S10 comes with an expresscard 34. I have absolutely no idea what the normal route equipment that's required to do this.

I know this isn't technically the forum but I'll take any recommendations as to a true laptop that's the size of a netbook (he loves the size of the S10) but has more power. Must have XP & arrive within 7 days though.

    Thanks!
