I have an HP Pavilion g series (g6-1150us, I believe), running Windows 7 Home premium.

I had to reformat my hard drive, and now my internet connection is not working. I got on the phone with my internet provider and Linksys, both say that it is a problem with my laptop. Linksys stated that the driver for my wireless adapter may not be installed. How do I find out if it is indeed installed, and if it isn't, how do I know what driver to download? I checked the HP website for my particular product but they list several drivers and I'm not sure which one I need.

    Thank you in advance!

Check the Device Manager for devices marked with an exclamation mark.

Agreed with Downloads. Easiest way to update drivers is to check Device Manager and let that handle the installation.
