    Hey guys,

My cable internet is in the basement, but my bedroom is on the second floor of the house. So whenever I'm using my computer in my room, the internet barely works. I'm currently using Netgear MR814v2, and I have tried Linksys WRT110. The Netgear signal is a lot stronger than the Linksys signal, but it's still not strong enough. What router would you recommend that has the greatest range (and can go through floors)?

    Thanks

You could either exchange the antenna of use a repeater somewhere in the middle but I would recommend looking for something like this.
Your current router is 802.11b if I'm not mistaken so adding an AP like the one I linked to would not only improve your coverage but also speed.
It costs about $50 and you could connect it to Linksys as an Access Point and let it handle all the wireless
