    My new laptop. I ordered it with - Intel(R) PRO/Wireless 3945ABG Network Connection and I have no idea which will work with it and which won't. Thank you.

    Umm all wireless routers will work...brand doesnt matter, just speed so get the 54mbs aka g

    Any router you can buy today :) Depends on how much you wanna spend and/or any brands you prefer.

    Will only work in those modes with supported cards otherwise will be default.

    any wireless router or WAP that uses the 802.11b/g/a standards will work.

    Do not buy any 11n or MINO, you intel card does not support it. So stick with 11b/g. Or 11a. There are less devices working in this band width.

    BUT,

    If you have any wireless phones, make sure you avoid that freq. Wireless phones can operate in 900mhz, 2.4ghz (11b/g), and 5.2 ghz.
