    What can I do to get my Laptop to pick up WiFi signals from longer than normal distances. Are there any after Market boosters or Power Antennas that will help?

    No power antennas for the laptop as far as i know. For the router you can.

    The onyl way you can get better wifi quality is to upgrade your WLAN card to Atheros
