I turned it off overnight (I do this weekly) Turned it on today came back 30 minutes later and the SSID was back to default. as well as all other settings. I did not press the reset button (I have tape over it to prevent that from happening)
A young kid just got wireless next door, is it possible he hacked me?
I changed the SSID to hidden, custom name, changed the admin password to strong 20 character one, WPA2- AES (strong password as well) about 8 months ago and have had no issues till today.

You should be able to check your internet usage on your ISPs website in all probability. Not which site you visited, but the amount of download, if it looks normal, i'd say that the router's settings just got flushed somehow. Aside from that, does your router have the option to access the settings via wireless, if yes, i'd turn that option off, it should prevent someone from accessing your router remotely if you're afraid it might happen.
