    Hi!!

I have an Acer V3 -471G with Bios InsydeEFI v2.16.
The original wifi card was an Atheros. Then, i changed it for a Broadcom one, and everything worked excellent...
After that, i tried two different intel modules (6230 and WifiLink 1000), but problems occur. The keyboard (integrated and usb) don´t response at all, and bsod (that part, was expected).
The weird thing, is that no bios message appears. Only the no-keyboard problem.

So... any idea and/or help to fix this problem?
    Thanks!!

It's not white-listing since Acer doesn't use it. These is an off chance that it's caused by the BIOS not supporting. These is BIOS 2.18 available for your notebook and while change-log doesn't list anything interesting it only lists changes introduced since 2.17 which is not available at all so no one knows what it introduced.

You might want to give 2.18 a try.

Also are you sure that Intel 6230 and 1000 were not removed or meant to Lenovo HP or Dell laptops?

The 6230 where buyed in amazon, and the 1000 was from an asus notebook...
Both modules worked fine in a Samsung SF410...
    I´m gone a test the 2.18 bios...
    Thanks for the idea!

    EDIT1: Step 1, flashing bios, success!! :D
Now, to change the wifi module... Wish me luck!

EDIT2: Step 2, trying the intel wifi card, was a no-go. No keyboard at all... :(

    So, other ideas?

You might try covering pins #20 and #51 on the wireless card to see if that works.
