    Right Guys,
This is slightly off topic but ive ran out of ideas and need some help
Am trying to set myself up as a mirror to give a friend some help with the hosting on his site. I have iis set up and everything seems ok apart from when I try and access (via http://(ipaddress)/index.html) it it is asking for a username and password. I know it should automatically log in the guest account iis creates but I cant get it to do this. Im thinking maybe a security feature or something?
Any ideas as I need to get this sorted asap.
Just for info I am running WinSever03 and iis version 6.0

    Thanks

On your server 2003, go to Default Web Site Properties and look at Directory Security tab. You have to look at Authentication and access control and click edit. Make sure that Enable anonymous access check box is being checked. That should fix your problem.
