    I have a notebook and would like to surf the internet while traveling. I have Mobile Web 2.0 on my Verizon cell phone. Is there a way to connect them so I can surf the internet through my cell phone? I tried to connect the two with Datapilot, but it wants to use my cell phone as a dial up modem and I don't have a dial up access username.

    With Verizon you have to have Tethering enabled for you account.. I found this out as I tried to connect my Q without telling Verizon. This is how you set it up however;

    Username is: [email protected]
    Password is: vzw

    Phone number is: #777

    Also, having unlimited data is pretty much a must as they kill you on data charges if you don't.

    This all also depends on the type of phone you have, check Verizon's site for compatibility.
