    Hey i got a MBP and a HDTV receiver from Bell canada at home. I am off at school about 50km away. Is there anyway i could stream or do something so I could watch my satellite channels on my mac? Ive heard of slingbox but dont really understand it!

    Basically, you can get a slingbox and attach it to your cable box. Then, connect it to your router. It will stream your TV channels through the internet to other computers anywhere on the planet!
