So, i have recently been trying to get battle.net to work (for longer than a few minutes) for about two weeks now. I can log onto b-net but I can't stay on it for very long. I played over at my friends house with my laptop without changing any settings on my laptop so I know it isn't my computer. Anyone know anything about netgear routers? I'm pretty low knowledge on the router subject and such, so any help would be appreciated.

You did not mentions if you and your friend was using the same ISP and connection speed. All are different, even across the street can be different. Make sure you have the latest firmware in the router. Netgear has had problems with their firmware in the past and have been doing regular updates.

I assume you have done all of the port forwarding need to play the game, and I mean all ports. You may try setting up a DMZ for your computer for a test. This will expose your PC to the bad side of the web, but should eliminate the lags.

Have you tried if it still drops when you are wired?

As well, check my review on the thing, I know I made a post with alot of screenshots, perhaps follow that.
