I purchased a Lenovo T60 about a month ago and set it up with Vista Business. I have a Sierra CDMA Integrated WWAN card. I set up the service with Verizon without a hitch. A few weeks later I upgraded to Vista Ultimate and have not been able to connect ever since. The first time I called Verizon, they indicated that it was my signal strength. The next time, they said there was an outage.

Both times, my error message indicated that connection failed and I couldn't be logged on. I seriously doubt that this is a signal or network issue. Unfortunately, Verizon's technicians do not have the ability to dig any deeper than blaming the issue on a signal or network problem. This issue has not been isolated to just two days either. My problem still remains. I have reinstalled VZAccess Messenger and it has not resolved my problem.

Anybody else have any similar problems? Your insight would be appreciated. I'll be sure to follow up if I find a solution, that is if I don't end up cancelling the service.

I had a similar problem with a sony and sprint service. They had to reset the modem....You may want to call and ask about that... something like ##RTN for the modem
