So I just got myself a laptop after 2 years of exclusive Desktop PC ownership.
Got an IBM/Lenovo ThinkPad T400 - absolutely love it.

Unfortunately, during purchase, I hadn't realized the WWAN option would have cost me only $50 (AT&T option), so I'm not stuck with looking at what options I have.

Would like to hear about what other people are using:
    o What carrier?
    o What type of contract/plan?
o How much data usage / month included?
    o Speed?
    o Cost?

I've been looking around, I'm considering to buy a Sierra 881 WWAN card off of eBay for ~$130. Being unlocked, I could use it with any GSM carrier.

T-Mobile has the best price from what I can tell - $49.99 for Unlimited data usage.

    AT&T - from what I hear, there's two options.
A $60/month 'official' full data plan with only 5GB/month data.
And a $20/month Media Net Unlimited package which has reports of being capped at dial up speeds - is that true? Does the Media Net Unlimited package offer full 3G speeds? What are the reports about this?

I'm interested in using this as a 'full time' internet access solution for at-home, at-work, and on-the-go. Would love input from others who are in similar situations and/or have solved this issue.
