    Hiyas!

    Ok so I need to get into the control panel, but when I type "http://192.168.1.1" in Firefox (whatever version came out today) or IE7, I get "problem loading page" timed out thing.

    * Last time I accessed the CP was only 'bout a week ago
    * I turned off wireless and I could still connect to the internet through the ethernet cable, so the connection itself is fine
    * I tried resetting the router (with the button in the back), but it did nothing
    * It's WRT54G, version 2, has the latest firmware
    * I tried restarting my computer just in case, but that did nothing

    So what do I do now? :confused: Thanks guys!

    Whats up Malia, haven't seen ya around much lately :p

    Try flushing your DNS, go to Command Prompt and do a:

    ipconfig /release
    ipconfig /flushdns
    ipconfig /renew

    And try it again. If that doesn't work, turn off the router for a few minutes.

    Thanks Cori!

    Ok, the reason it wouldn't connect is... For some reason, at some point in time, I changed the default gateway to 192.168.2.1 and forgot. Duh! When I went to ipconfig, I figured I'll do it without the commands first just to see what it says, and there I saw it. Well, now that that's over!

    Yeah, I've been busy with school and stuff. OMG 10000+ posts, you've been busy! I'll be taking some summer classes too, but I don't think I'll be so busy, I hope not anyway. Hey it's summer, time to have fun! Going to Montreal tomorrow! :D

    Cya around!
