I can no longer find games on Garena with the conection at my residence which uses WPA2 Personal. I believe it is due to the connection type as I never experienced problems with WEP. Thanks in advance.

I can't think of any reason why switching encryption protocols would cause such a problem. Were you using WEP before on the same router, or have you switched routers as well as encryption protocols?

Thank you for your response. Actually I have switched both recently.

I was using WEP protocol on the university's wireless and my home's network. However, Garean refuses to find any games in a house that I rent with other students near campus during the school year and we use WPA2. Maybe the owner of the house was paranoid and set up some security codes to enhance the security?...pardon my ignorance on the matter.

    Thanks again.

Sounds like a firewall issue. But it doesn't pertain to your laptop as it sounds like you are able to find games just fine at the university/home.

You should check the game's website to see if you need certain ports open to see games. Usually you need ports open to host games, not to see games.

so I should specify a TCP or UDP port? I couldn't find much support or related info on Garena though.
