I have a Asus WL-500G Premium, and was wondering how do i let people on the main network at my college, see my computer when i try to play LAN games. As currently, im pretty sure it blocks them, where as on my laptop, i just told ZoneAlarm to allow the games get out. I have attempted before, but they all resulted in the attached HDD no longer being displayed in the router setup. Any help is appreciated, as i would prefer to not need to disconnect the router from the network every time i want to play Supreme Commander.

You need to do a port forward in your router for your game. Look on the games web site most have instructions on how to set it up for their system.
