    Hi all,

I am interested in upgrading my network at home at WIFI N but there are still laptops and other equipment (phones, printers) that are using N.
So I would like to ask the following:
Is it possible to have my laptop connect to both depending on what I want to do?
For example, for almost everything using the N and then switch to G when I want to use the printers?

Is this easy? Will there be interference between the two networks?
    Has anyone tried it yet?

    TNX!!

Wireless N routers can support G devices, such as wireless printers and older laptops. make sure you research your requirements and try to predict where you are heading with your network to best plan for your future needs.

I dont know of a router that supports N and not G, also they wont cause interference with each other and should all play nicely.
I just upgraded my network at home aswell, my needs are a little extreme for most home setups, but i have older laptops that are G only and the connect fine to my central routing device. You will have two "spatially" seperate networks because the signals are diffrent frequencies. However they will be seemlessly linked by the router, you wont notice a thing!! :)
