The Notebook Review forums were hosted by TechTarget, who shut down them down on January 31, 2022. This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Vista ping spike every 60secs...

    This is really starting to tick me off now...

    Basically Vista is constantly looking for other connections you might want to connect to wether you like it or not and causes a nice ping spike 200ms> every 60 secs!

    I've been floating around google for a bit but still haven't found a god damn solution to the problem lol :(

    Tryed installing anti vista lag which didn't work...

    A show of hands please to anyone else on here with this problem and any work arounds you may have found/discovered :)
