I have a problem connecting to the Internet after I resume my Asus G1S from sleep. The problem appears to be only with unsecured networks, it does not happen at home.

My computer is connected to my University network. I close the lid and open it after a few minutes. The network icon in system tray indicates that it is connected to the wireless network, but not the Internet. So I can't access the Internet.

The problem is very sporadic and it does not happen when I'm using Linux. I have seen others having this problem as well.

I updated the drivers and Windows updates, but no solution yet.

You also have power settings in the Adv Properties of the hardware device.
