    Vista and Intel?

    I am running Vista premium, my wireless works fine, but i just noticed i no longer have the option to let Windows handle the wireless only intel, any ideas as to what happend to this option that i had on XP before i installed Vista?

    On XP it's a service that you stopped when you installed the driver. With Vista I have no idea what they have done. Sorry, some one running Vista will need to help you.

    If your pc crashes alot this will happen.

    Use windows restore and restore to an earlier version.

    the option hasn't been there since I've switched to Vista.
    I haven't had a single problem with Vista since i re-formated it, I just cant find the option to let Windows manage the Wireless adapter.

    Well it would seem to me that Windows is managing the wireless using Intels software, Is that even possible? because when i turn it off in the services it turns my wireless off, but when i turn off the intel stuff my wireless is still on there are just no options to mess with as if i have left them on.
