Hi guys. My network has been a little funky lately on just my laptop. Some times certain websites can't be accessed from my computer (it's not a browser or LAN issue), but can be from other computers on the LAN. Other sites can be accessed just fine, and it's pretty random which ones I can't connect to. It's usually solved with a reboot.

Issue 2: the Network button on the startmenu (I'm not sure what to call it in Vista, Computers and Devices maybe?) takes a ridiculously long time to load the other computers, and never shows the router as a device. Another Vista computer I have running sees everything perfectly and instantly and has similar specs to my laptop.

Issue 3: I can't print to the printer connected to the other Vista compt through printer sharing. MS Word and other apps that print tell me there is an issue, but don't tell me what.

So there is some network issue that is causing all there problems, and the Diagnose and Repair button only tells me this: [IMG]

All my drivers are up to date. Can anybody help?

Maybe list other devices in the network, what router, etc.
I'll ask a mo to move this to networking.

I'd have guessed driver - but you stated yours is up to date, so that's a no.

Check in your event logs to see if anything that seems network-related got logged there.

It says Custom, which happens when certain services are off, but in this case it's just Windows Firewall (Norton is using its firewall instead).

I think the wireless driver I'm using doesn't wrok, and I need an older one maybe? When I run the "Dell Wireless WLAN car Utility" half the time the Internet IP test passes, and the other half the time fails.
