    Vista Laptop Not Connecting

    My Lenovo y710 with vista is not connecting to the wireless network i have it connects for a couple of sec. but then cuts out but the strange thing is that it only does this some time ie. it will connect for like a month and then this happens and i am getting tired of it. my router is a Belkin with a Linksys rang bust added on.

    I have similar issues with reconnecting with networks (LAN or WLAN) after sleep or extended periods of disconnection. Seems a quick restart is the only way I have gotten it to work. At times, disabling the hardware then enabling will work.

    i have done the restart part but it did not work, i will need to try the Disable and enable.

    Try disabling IPV6. Do a google search you will get lots of info.
