Ok, so I have a Linksys Wireless G router connected directly to two PC's running XP. I turned on the wireless and got it working great with my new HP dv9500z. I can surf the web, etc just fine. However, I can't see the other PC's on my network or their shared files/folders/printers. The two PC's can see each other fine.... is Vista capable of viewing shared files on XP PC's on a network? Do I need to enable something?

Next question- I downloaded and installed the Cisco VPN software for Vista that I need to connect to work. Tried it out and it works great. BUT, when I'm connected through VPN I can't surf the internet, only work internal sites. I don't have this problem with my XP PC with VPN software. I can be connected and still get to external websites. Is there anyway I can be connected through VPN without losing external web connectivity?

    Thanks.

Both the PC's have automatic update turned on. would this be something extra I have to download? I get Windows updates about once a week or so, maybe less.

after unsuccessfully searching everywhere for this option, I did some googling and aparently the Cicso VPN software for Vista currently doesn't allow split tunneling.

I'm guessing no one here knows a way around this?
