    Hi experts,
    I need help from you.

In my room I have an Apple TV that allows me to play with iPhone 6 games with "AirPlay mirroring".
Everything is fine but the image is not smooth as I want.
That's maybe because the router is far from my room.

In this room I have a laptop and I can build an virtual hosted network.
My idea is to put iPhone and Apple TV in that hosted network (very near because it's in the same room) and so to have better AirPlay's performance (more smoothness) bypassing the normal wifi router at all (that is far).

My question is: virtual hosted network acts like a normal router or it's limited i.e. it works like a normal hub/switch or it's just an access point to internet?

I hope my english was correct.

    Thanks.
