hey i found this online and thought it was pretty interesting, do you put this into an express slot and your able to access the internet from a bunch of places? like if i wanted to use my laptop in the car, i would have access to the internet.

i also wanted to know if you had to pay a monthly bill.

Will this work with the Asus G1s

You would be able to access the Internet anywhere you have wireless signal on your cellphone. You would also need to subscribe to a data plan, with monthly fees.

No problem. The monthly fees I refer to are monthly charges, just like your charges/bills for your cellphone.

The lady I just trained at work has this service, first time I had seen it so I thought it was pretty neat. She said you have to have Verizon to use the service (I have no confirmed, I dont see why they wouldnt want to take your money for just this service if you dont have a phone with them) and that it was like 70$ a month.

    So its pretty expensive.

If your on the road alot its probably worth it, considering average high speed net is like 40$ for a home based ISP, the extra 30$ lets you use that anywhere instead of only the few days your at home.

The "high speed internet" at my workplace was actually slower than her connection I think (our internet is horribly slow tho, esp for me who comes home to 15mb/s down 2mb/s up fiber optic connection)

If you want it and dont have verizon, dont fret. Cingular and Sprint both offer it or will offer it soon.
