So I want to be able to remotely control my winXP(32 bit) desktop with my win7(64 bit) laptop. I have opened up the correct ports on my router and checked to makes sure that I can see the ports. Whenever I try to connect I get a time out error. The weird thing is that I can connect to my laptop from the desktop, but not vice versa. Any ideas what may be causing this?

Hey I ended up fixing my issue by using ultraVNC, they had both a 64 bit and 32 bit version, which may have been why I was having issues.

Mod you can close this now.
