Our office has a desktop PC which has one program I frequently use.
Whenever I need it, I go there and use it.
But sometimes I have to move back and forth for documents and files and the PC is located in a location where it is hard to concentrate.
So I am looking for a more elegant solution.

It is an extremely expensive scientific program, so buying another license just for me or a site license is not an option.
What is the best way or (program) with which I can connect to the desktop and use the program on my laptop?

    Thank you.

    P.S. The desktop has Sandybridge Core i5, 8GB DDR3 RAM, RAID1 500GB HDD, Radeon 5600 GPU, Windows7 Pro.

    Remote Desktop.

Desktop: Control Panel > System and Security > System > Advanced System Settings (left hand side) > Remote (Tab) > Allow remote desktop connections.
Laptop: Start Menu > Type "Remote Desktop"
