    I feel very dumb. I fixed it. I just turned on "AP Mode" and now it works.

    Well you have to be connected to the router to access it. That wont work if your just plugging into the modem....

    ok, i didnt realize that. So, i cann get into my routers settings...i just tried. But i still can tconnect to the inter net. It is now giving my page cant be displayed/server not found. Windows says problem with DNS server.

    You need to clone the MAC address of the wired network port that you used to setup the account into the router. This is the port you said works. Move the cat5e cable back over to the routers lan port, login to the router and make this change, normally found in advance settings for the WAN/Internet port.
