I have a Dell SXPS16 and it came with the Intel 5100 AGN. I am thinking about upgrading to a 6300 because the 5100 is giving me some connection dropping issues on wireless N.

However, I read that the 6300 is 3 antennas and my laptop only comes with 2 I believe due to it being built with the 5100. Does anyone know a place where I can order an additional antenna to help boost the connection or does it not matter?

    Thanks

It does matter, but it will work with 2 antennae as well.
