    Hi, I just bought a new HP-dv4t laptop, It has intel 3945 in it, My friend has a laptop that he is goin to trash (His motherboard exploded) and his PC is out of warranty, he has a 4965 modude, can I swap those what all will I need as there are 3 connections in 4965 while 2 only in 3945... please help

    Just get another antenna and wire it ourself. Also since he doesnt want it just take the entire machine and gut it. You can still get a good amount of money for it. No point in trashing it.

    Sometimes you have to help yourself out. See if your friend will give you one of his antenna's too. Then open up your laptop to install the card and see if you can figure out how to get an extra antenna in there. You might be able to route it along with the existing antennas.
