I upgraded my Dell inspiron 1420 to Ultimate and now cannot get the wireless to work. Haven't been able to find a fix yet. I have downloaded the latest drivers and loaded them and no luck. Do I maybe have to remove the card while I install the drivers. Belarc says it can find a wireless drivers loaded. What gives?
The card is an Intel 3495ABG and is supposed to be compat with all Vista version. It worked with the Home premium but not ultimate.

Connect the laptop to Ethernet and download the drivers for your wireless card.

I've had this problem multiple times on my Inpsiron 1520. Downloaded drivers, etc at least 20 times. The Wifi manager just doesn't pick up any wireless cards. I've asked this a few times on a few different sites and we tried a bunch of things. Never worked.
