    Hi there,

I have a Dell XPS Lx502 laptop and I have this card and I live in a 2 bedroom apartment in HongKong and I still get low ping and not much range when I use it to connect to my wireless router and I have a good internet connection.

I want to upgrade my wireless adapter to the mosst latest and strongest and compatible one.

    Which one do you suggest?

DELL told me that I could use the following cards:

    Wireless and Bluetooth combo cards

    Intel Centrino Advanced N-6235.
    Intel Centrino Advanced-N 6230.
    Intel® Centrino Wireless-N 2230 WLAN/BT Half Mini-Card
    Dell Wireless 1703 WLAN/BT Combo Half Mini-Card.
    Dell Wireless 1704 WLAN/BT Combo Half Mini-Card.
Dell Wireless 1701 WLAN Half-Mini Card.
    Dell Wireless 1901 WLAN/BT Combo PCI-E Half Mini-card

    Wireless cards

    Intel Wi-Fi Link 6200 or 6300 Wireless-N Half Mini-Cards
    Dell™ Wireless 1506 WLAN Half Mini-Card
    Dell™ Wireless 1503 WLAN Half-Mini Card
    Dell™ Wireless 1502 WLAN Half Mini-Card
    Dell™ Wireless 1702 WLAN Half Mini-Card
Dell Wireless 1520 WLAN Half mini-Card

What do you think is the latest?

Assuming you don't need Bluetooth Intel 6200 is the most reasonable choice (or Intel 6300 if you have three antennas installed).

If you need Bluetooth you're limited to Intel 6230/6235 (it's basically the same card).

That said- you're in HK so I assume 2.4GHz band is overcrowded. You should consider replacing your current router with a simultaneous dual band one and use 5GHz range on all devices that support it (all cards I recommended above support 5GHz band too)
