When I first signed up for 100Mbps cable Internet service bundled with basic cable TV from Spectrum I received it at a good low price of $43/mo plus tax and fees but after a year that increased to $60/mo plus tax and fees.A next year increase brought it up to $73 that included the tax and fees. The next year we tried a bundle with some programing that my wife wanted to watch but seldom did plus a free increase to 200Mbps Internet that resulted in an $84/mo bill from Spectrum.
I recently got a letter from Spectrum announcing my monthly bill of $84 would increase to $107;$56 for the cable TV and $40 for the Internet + tax.
I cancelled the cable TV part of my service yesterday that resulted in a monthly charge for the Internet alone going up to $65/mo
The only other Internet provider in my area is ATT that gets $50/mo plus tax and fees for unbundled Internet but is a low 25 Mbps.

I watch very little TV so I think I'll be happy I cut the cord.

Count your blessings, we pay 200 USD per month for a 100 MBPS fibre optic connection + TV Channels. Prices in the USA for internet are insanely low I'd be happy with any of those packages you listed.

On a side note, I'm like you, I never watch TV, everything I do is on my taptop be it watching movies, YouTube, or surfing so you can cut the cord I guess.

I get new internet connection home including tv channels this fall. Around 195 usd (500/500). 65 usd on top if I wanted 1000/1000 line  Nope, I wouldn’t do that.

While I was on the phone with the Spectrum customer service person cancelling the TV service he tried his best to convince me that the TV service I was cancelling should not be cancelled but should be upgraded to more channels plus I should sign up and use Spectrums new cell phone service(through Verizon).

BTW,while I was residing/working for several years in South Korea before returning stateside 5 years ago my basic tv/100Mbps Internet and Internet phone was $30/mo.

I installed a digital indoor antenna($20) today that gets me all the tv channels my wife likes plus most of the basic ones with excellent reception quality.

I pay $8/mo for 50 or 100mbit/s internet service (don't remember, speedtest shows 80 down / 95 up so probably 100mbit/s) - and that is considered quite expensive here, in comparison my grandmother living in a large house with many apartments pays $70/year for 100mbit/s. No TV in either case. /=
