I use Vista Ulltimate and DELL XPSM1530.

I was trying to pair with my mobile phones using Bluetooth but it did not work.

When I was trying to check the option "Allow Bluetooth devices to find this computer."

"An error occured while Windows was saving your settings. The Bluetooth device might be unplugged.

The following settings were not saved:

    Discoverability settings
    Connection settings"

    What happen?

    How to solve it?

    Thank you.

Did you set your phone to be discovered?

There was no problem for me at all. and I didn't change or set anything. I just turned on bluetooth in the phone (sony ericsson Z610i) and the laptop and connected them. I searched for the laptop on the phone and when my phone found the laptop, I connected to it. On the laptop, there was a notification saying a bluetooth device is trying to connect and asked me whether I want to allow it and I just clicked yes and it connected. No problem.

Also there is this "PIM" thing which you might want to check out in the bluetooth settings.

By the way, just to make sure, have you turned on the wireless/bluetooth switch on the right hand side, near the remote control bay in the M1530?
