Is anyone familiar with this router, or flashing other firmware into a wireless router?

Is there a very solid firmware that I can easily acquire and flash to the USR8054? Thanks!

Access your Wireless Configuration Page via your router's IP address. Usually, it begins with 192.168.X.X. The "X"s are values you need to fill in -- of course, some routers can be completely different. The address is usually written on the bottom of the router.

From that panel, you can get an option to upgrade the firmware. It is highly reccomened you update firmware often. The best firmware will automatically download through your setup menu.

Are you using this router or a different one? I'm sure you know that each interface is different and has different options. The USR8054 Tools > Firmware displays the current firmware and release date, and an option to browse my computer to select an update file. There is apparently no automatic update feature.
