    Greetings,

I have a meeting tommorow and the Ethernet Port on my Sony Vaio laptop isn't working, I don't think that the driver has been installed since I last installed Windows over Linux.

    Model: VGN-FS485B

Can someone please try and locate a driver for this Ethernet Port as I cannot find one on Driver Downloads on the Sony Vaio Site, they have every other driver except the one for Ethernet.

    Thank You.

You need to install all of the notebook system and chipset drivers before the ethernet port will be available. So, I suggest checking the Sony board for any OS driver stickies or posts (can't tell you which one, since you didn't bother to tell us what OS you use), and then download all of the required drivers and software for your laptop from Sony.
