    Tweak for wireless router?

    is there any tweak to the firmware of a belkin N1 wireless router?

    Why do you need a tweak? Firmware updates are done through the router setup menu, and will require a router restart after update.

    11n does not work. The tweek you need is "take it back to where you bought it" and return it.

    what do u mean.. my belkin n1 work fine and fast.. range is like 1 out of 10 i give it a 10 for excellent

    Test show in a real world setting it does not have longer range. It is forced down to 11g, standard operation when 11b/g is present. Unless you are in the boonies there is no gain.

    I disagree....my speed and range is greatly increased now with the use of a belkin pre-n router and card

    Back to Photoguy's question. As far as I know there are no tweaked firmwares for the N1. If the N1 is working so well for you why do you need a tweaked firmware? I only ask as I can't think of 1 good reason to install a tweaked firmware on mine :D

    lol ... well i have had the belkin N1 for over a week and i have to say beside that it is a beautiful router, i was gaming on my xps with wireless connection , there was no lag what so ever.. everything ran smooth while playing online.so i like it, my borther use my wirless connection to play online with his psp and he was wooooooow lol , everything ran smooth also
