Do a reset to factory settings and start over like a new router. A normal reset does not clear your settings.

A soft reset is when you hit the button and the router reboots, same as a power cycle. Holding down the reset for 10+sec normally wipes all user info and restores the router to factory conditions. For some routers there are special key seq to do this. Netgear procedure takes a min. Some even have options inside the config pages. Then there are special procedures if you blow away the factory firmware.

Well when I hear "reset" I think all config. being wiped off...and not every Router has a Soft reset button.

When I did a search on your router it came up as a 11b/g router only not 11n.
