This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     Toshiba Wireless Question

    I have a Toshiba Sattellite A-200, and want to use it for wireless internet.
    I just bought a Belkin G Wireless USB Network Adaptor, and (before I open the wrap on it) just wanted to ensure it would work on my Laptop.

    My Router is a 'G' so I am only assuming that part should work, from that point.

    Will the USB Adaptor work for the computer though (instead of the "Express Card" thingy).

    Yes, but I hope it's the one that stands up, not the dongle (haven't looked at them in ages). I'd broken more than one usb port on a wireless dongle that either overheated or that i hit with my hand/mouse by accident. Freaking dongles... (Love my mouse's nano transmitter and my nano bluetooth transmitter)
