Hey so I have a Toshiba Satellite M645 and its very new.. not even a month old. The problem I have is randomly my laptop says there are no wireless networks. when I try to diagnose it can not find any problems. When I go to device manager to disable then re enable the device it freezes that window. When this happens the only way to fix it is restarting the laptop. When ever this happens the computer refuses to restart or shut down and just idles at the shutting down screen where I am forced to hold the power button to shut it down.

This problem has nothing to do with my router I am sure because this happens at any location. This happens mostly after I have my laptop on for any amount of time and once I put it to sleep or hibernate it then waken it it connects fine then not to much longer later it has the problem

I have updated my drives from intel and tried doing everything that I can. I disabled the option that turns the device off to save power and i am out of ideas and really do not want to have to send this in since I really need it ATM for school

    Thanks for any help

I was gonna suggest you verify the option to put the device to sleep was not enabled; but you covered that already. You also updated the driver directly from the manufacturer (being Intel).

There is no other device in Device Manager missing drivers right? You would know if there is with a yellow ?/! mark.

    Check Event Viewer for hints/clues.

If all else fails the NIC may be faulty...might be worth try replacing.
