    Thomson Speedtouch 585 -- Counter Strike PortForwading problem

    I've searched all the internet, watched over 15 youtube videos on how to open ports for counter strike and non of them worked at ALL.(I don't even know if this is the right place where to post in this part of the forum)
    come on guys..this is making me mad..it's simple but i didn't have luck even a nibble..I need some help
    I tried the stock one on my router and that didn't work as well

    Here are the ones i used.
    i also went to Open Port Check Tool - Test Port Forwarding on Your Router to see if 27015 was open. and from the first time i began, it always tell me that this port is closed
    .
    i also ran a server on hlds and went to gametracker to see if "www.yougetsignal" was wrong and i can still find the server but no luck.

    what am i doing wrong?

    What firmware are you running on your ST585 and what hardware version do you have - V6?

    Hmmm I don't have any problem with CS using exactly the same setup.

    Have you checked your Windows firewall settings?

    primarily, what settings should i check?

    Try disabling it temporarily and see if that helps.

    it is still closed after disabling it temporarily ...i wonder why
    anw, i've read some articles and from what i learned, i need a public ip adress to work not a private on..
    so ideas???
