    hi,

i have a Thinkpad R50 Wirless which is great, it is used a 3 different locations on any give day. two off these connections i can connect fine to my desired wireless network, but the third I can't.

at this location I can scan and see all the available wireless networks, but I can never connect to my desired network, i also cannot connect to other wireless networks that i can see at this location (all unsecured networks).

'ipconfig /all' in the cmd at this location gives 'Media Disconnected'. would something near this location be interfering with my wireless card? the router i try to connect to at this location as my MAC address details and i know another person at this location connects with a Thinkpad R50 with no problems.

    my system:
    - Thinkpad R50
    - Windows XP (SP2)
    - Wireless Adapter: Intel(R) PRO/Wireless LAN 2100 3B Mini PCI (Driver Version: 1.2.4.41)

i've tried googling this for hours. can anyone shed some light on this problem?
