What does this mean? How does the computer do it? Does it like encrypt the username and password and turn it into a key or something? My main question is though: If I know my username and password, is there a way to "recreate" the key (don't ask why)

    Thanks

If you got the router when you sighed up, to your broadband provider , it may already have a key installed and it might be written on the outside of the router.

If you bought the router, you will have to set encryption key and password!

well my school sets has this wireless system that works with users (you log into your account and it tracks what you do (websense) - etc) on the laptops that they give you. i was wondering if i could login to my account user from a different computer - IE if I were to bring in my own laptop I could use my internet over there
