    N2100: http://www.thecus.com/products_over.php?cid=1&pid=1

so! which is the better nas?! and let's ignore price for the minute

    my situation:

two notebooks connecting to a wireless network via a d-link dir-655 gigabit & draft n router. i need the nas to be a backup of all data from said notebooks. i need the nas to be the primary store for all photos, music and video. i use itunes, but will probably not use the itunes server function on either nas as i need to sync all music with an ipod for each notebook. the nas will use 500gb drives in raid1. i think that's about it.

which one should i go for!??!

lol. too big. i'm in the uk at the moment, and i'll be shipping all this kit back to south africa in december. that's why i'm looking into a small nas. otherwise i'd convert my current pc into a server-type-thingy.

also, i'm a sucker for aesthetics. the dns-323 & n2100 are quite nice looking. in fact i'm swaying towards the n2100 'cus i can get it in white and it'll match the router!

I like the DLINK better because it is also a print server. Iv never heard of Thecus which also is a factor.

The N2100 seems to be more powerful especially with dual gigabit. However I dont think it will be used that much while the print server functionality of the DLINK is actually quite useful. Not to mention the DLINK seems cheaper.

edit: Here are two reviews from one site on both the enclosures:
