Hi I have the MBP from early 2008, is it just me or does the MBP have really crappy wifi signal. My D-Link DGL-4300 wireless gaming router is located at one end of my house and on the main floor. Usually I'll be all the way on the other end of the house on the second floor. I'll be on my MBP and I'm struggling to get a good signal, even at times I'll loose connection. While my old crappy Acer, Dell XPS and Macbook picks up the signal perfectly and rarely ever looses the signal. Repositioning my router is an option, so is there anything I can do to increase the wifi? Perhaps either by purchasing software/hardware?

My MBP works fine, but the AL case will not knock the signal down some. You may have a miss match chips set clash.
