OK, i have this strange hickup in my system when im playing games, listening to music, watching a move etc. But only when im connected to MY network. If im not connected at all it works fine, and if im connected to my friends... it works fine.... Any suggestions?

To describe it more, The sound gets really distorted, and my FPS drops to 12. It happens every every 0:30-2:00 its any where between those times/minutes.

Is it possible that the host computer is eating the bandwidth at certain times?

My computer often slows to an extremely sluggish pace when someone is using up a lot of the computer that my router is connected to.

Try updating to the newest drivers for your particular router. Do the same for your card. Also try switching the channel of your router or restarting it.

Well i never had this problem with windows XP, but right when i upgraded and played a CD then it started having all that distortion. But if i use my sisters laptop it doesnt have a problem.... But she has windows XP. So would this occor because there is different firmware for VISTA?
